This video tutorial will explain the step-by-step instructions and cleaning procedure for your Concordia Integra milk and brewing systems.
Part 1. Milk System Cleaning Instructions
First, open the left door, then push the Service switch to the Service position. You will then press and hold the CLEAN button until Select Clean is displayed. When Select Clean is displayed, press the lower arrow to begin the milk cleaning process.
Next, when Place Cup Under Nozzle is displayed, place the first cleaning cup under the nozzle and press the CLEAN button. The cup will be filled with hot water. Repeat this process with the other two cleaning cups. The machine will beep after each cup is filled. After this stage is complete, remove milk from the refrigeration unit.
Now, we will pour cleaner #1 into the first cup and mix the cleaner and water thoroughly to ensure that the cleaning powder is completely dissolved. Repeat this process with cleaner #2 and the second cup of hot water. Be sure to then place the black protector guard on the drain grate under the nozzle.
When the message Milk Clean Add Cleaner #1 is displayed, place the cup with cleaner #1 on the drain grate and place the milk pickup tube in the cup and press the CLEAN button. Repeat this process with the cup with cleaner #2 on the drain grate when Milk Clean Add Cleaner #2 is displayed, and again press the CLEAN button.
When the milk system cleaning process has finished, wipe out the refrigeration unit and tubing with a sanitized towel. Using a clean cloth, Re-insert the milk pickup tube into the milk container and place the milk container back in the refrigeration unit. Push the Service switch to the Run position, secure all cleaning materials, and close all doors. The milk system cleaning process is now complete.
Part 2. Brew System Cleaning Instructions
First, open the left door, then push the Service switch to the Service position. You will then press and hold the CLEAN button until Select Clean is displayed. When Select Clean is displayed, press the upper arrow to begin the brew cleaning process.
When Sweep Brewer is displayed, use the brush provided to sweep coffee grounds from the brew chamber area, and close the left door.
When Insert Tablet is displayed, open the left door and place one cleaning tablet in the brew chamber. Do not mistakenly placed the tablet in the grounds chute located directly underneath the chamber.
Close the left door once again to begin the brew cleaning process and place the black protector guard on the drain grate under the nozzle once more.
When the brew cleaning process is finished, open both front doors of the machine to clean the drain tray and grate. Remove and empty the grounds bin and wash nozzles with hot soapy water and clean with sanitizer.
Finally, push the Service switch to the Run position, secure all cleaning materials, and close all doors. The brew system cleaning process is now complete!
(Now may be a good time to clean the machine exterior and restock all items.)
Helpful Reminders
- Use hot water dispensed from the machine. Do not use cold water; the cleaner is not effective in cold water.
- Use gloves and eye protection when cleaning the machine. The cleaner powder contains a chlorine solution which may bleach or stain countertops and clothing.
- Use only Concordia approved cleaning chemicals. Use of substitutes may void your warranty and may not sanitize your milk system effectively.
- Do not mix cleaning solutions #1 and #2 together.
- Be certain to perform the daily cleaning to maintain your machine’s warranty.
- Please keep all supplies out of reach of children. Read and observe all safety precautions listed on packaging and use a sanitizer approved by state and local health department regulations.
